I published a bunch of interview snippets earlier this week but I hadn’t had a chance to talk with Angie Meeker.

Angie and I talked about a bunch of different things (like pricing based on value and that starts with sales) but one thing that really stuck out to me is her discussion about being a stay at home mom and running a business. It seemed especially note worthy in light of 2 articles that made the rounds yesterday about working and motherhood.

  1. Monthers are not opting out – they are out of options
  2. The opt-out generation wants back in

Despite having the same discussions with my wife last night it’s something that is hard to understand as a guy. Women you aren’t alone and you can do awesome stuff (which includes being a mom if you want) and Angie is an awesome example of doing both.

She is a great mom, and a great person in the WordPress community. If you get a chance to talk to her, make the most of it.
