From The Sweet Setup I’ll highlight a few portions I agree with.

The iPad has been my main computing device since the Pro line came out. Being without it for a few weeks has really highlighted why I prefer the iPad, and in many cases, has shown me how I can do more than on any other device.

No I haven’t lost my iPad, but I understand the feeling exactly.

Absolutely. I was on my Mac yesterday working on a blog post and the extra steps that things took over what happens on my iPad were a huge pain. Specifically because I have automation via Workflow (soon to be Shortcuts in iOS 12).

I still don’t regret my move to iOS first computing. If my MacBook Air died, I don’t think I’d replace it with anything. I’d just move the family Mac Mini to the office where it can still be a media hub and where I could follow my photo archiving routine.

That’s the only workflow I don’t have locked down yet on in iPad Pro. Grab photos from my camera. Edit them (I love Luminar for macOS). Then have my photos on an external drive, plus up in something like Backblaze.

Incidentally, my sweet setup was on the sweet setup earlier this week.
