Facebook feeding violence

From The New York Times:

Wherever per-person Facebook use rose to one standard deviation above the national average, attacks on refugees increased by about 50 percent.

I’m largely off Facebook. I certainly do not watch the feed to engage with any posts outside of a single book club I like. Even that interaction is waning.

Based on the article above we should be hoping that internet goes out long enough that Facebook stops being a thing.
