While I still don’t do interview shows from my iPad because I can’t record local audio and send it to the other party, I do record all my solo Podcasts directly to my iPad. I also edit all my podcasts directly on my iPad.
Today we’ll walk through the gear and software I use to make that happen.
Recording Podcasts on iOS
Unfortunately iOS still doesn’t let you record your audio locally while sending it to an outside service like Zoom to host your calls. This is extra annoying when you see that iPad’s now test just as fast as many MacBook Pro’s. It’s time to fix this software limitation Apple.
