One of the frustrations with iOS has been the way you have to work around limitations in some applications. The YouTube iOS app is one of the offenders. It lets you upload a video, tag it, and publish it, add it to a playlist. What it doesn’t do is let you schedule a video to publish at a later date.

Until recently I was using iCab (reporting itself as Safari macOS) to get the standard desktop view for YouTube and then I could access the scheduling features. While this worked, it was less than optimal in many ways.

Thankfully my friend Matt recently let me know about YouTube Studio. Unfortunately you can’t upload you video from YouTube Studio so you still have to upload via the YouTube app and then schedule and finish setup in YouTube Studio.
