Something Interesting

Because we’re all looking to expand our minds a bit.

It’s okay to need a day off. I mostly take Monday/Friday off from responsibilities for others. This week I went skiing with my daughter’s class on Tuesday, so I worked Monday. Today I’ll be back on the ski hill with my two youngest daughters for an hour or so before I sit down again and tinker. I have suffered from burnout before and three focused days a week with two “tinker” days turned into a schedule that was maintainable over the long term. I even keep reading how my 15-hour week was the standard for a long time.

School is literally killing kids.

Software

Is Readwise Reader the one tool to rule them all? (youtube) I do have to question his statement that blogs/online is more current than books. It’s also way less edited and thus possibly more prone to misinformation. Be careful about the sources you use.

NotePlan just added tables. (youtube)

Craft

What should you know about sharing documents as sites in Craft. (youtube)

There are a bunch of improvements to Excalidraw Slideshows. (youtube)

You can now game in Obsidian??? (reddit)

Yup I use affiliate links sometimes to support the newsletter. If it’s on Amazon, it’s an affiliate link for sure.
