This is the third book in the Wildwood Chronicles and we pickup shortly after the events of the third book where Prue and the residents of Wildwood banded together to thwart the plans of the former Queen. Well a young girl dabbling in magic she doesn’t understand ends up reawakening her as a living ivy monster that rapidly overtakes all of Wildwood.
We see resurrections and families reunited though we also have death of some of our beloved characters.
Overall, I very much enjoyed this book and hope that my younger two children dive into the series as they move into chapter books. It’s certainly geared towards tweens/early teens, but if you like a good fantasy story, it should tickle that fancy.
