If you want some idea of how hard the cobbles are in the Paris Roubaix you need to watch this video. Even if you’re not in to cycling, you can appreciate the camera work.

I watched it last year and for the life of me could not find it again this year. Props to [@mchaste][mc] for pointing it out to me again.

Something about the Roubaix appeals to me, it’s a hard man’s race. I’d say it’s the hardest one day race of the season. Those stones beat you up and spit you out. Along with a stage of the Tour de France riding the Roubaix course is on my bucket list of things to do. It might even be higher than a stage of the Tour de France. I’d like to think that if I was a pro cyclist I’d be a Classics racer.
