Getting work done is one thing, but getting paid for that work is way more important.

I’ve been lucky and never really had to chase clients down for payment. Yes I’ve had some late payments, but when I send through interest they pay up right away. It’s rare that I work with late payers again if it’s the first project, so I don’t have to deal with them again.

Late payment comes down disrespect, your client disrespecting you. If you’re careful during the client selection process you can ofter weed out the ones that are going to be disrespectful.
