I like how Matt used some blocks to visually represent how his time blocks work.

Like Matt, I start by blocking out the things I can’t change like the time I need to watch kids or run or do other stuff that limits the amount of time I can work in a week. Once you’ve planned for those things that aren’t work, you know the time you’re actually able to accomplish your tasks in the week.

Time Blocking is about being intentional so that you put time into the tasks that you think are the most important. Otherwise, it’s easy to fall into doing those tasks that scream at you for attention.

Also, may have to add Woven as something I try to see if it’s a decent application for time blocking.
