Maximizes Tool Usage to Avoid GAS

GAS = Gear Acquisition Syndrome

We've all had it, and many of us will continue to have it. I'm certainly suffering from it a bit lately as I do more streaming.

Two tips I loved in this video.

• Rent something and put it in your workflow before you purchase to see if it's really as good as you think.

• Watch all those tips/tricks for your current gear because you're probably not using it to it's full potential.

I'm 10+ years into using VIM as my code editor, and I still find stuff weekly I could be doing better with it. I really should take a course on VIM and all my other tools instead of watching for "what's next" in my office.
