I’ve been off the last half of the week so this is a quick note to point you to a great post of reading recommendations on White Supremacy. I added most of the items to my list of reading.
I’d also like to recommend a few books I found useful. I’d like to say “enjoyed” but they were hard reads so that’s not the correct word.
Why I No Longer Talk to White People About Race (my review)
This on made me angry at first because why wouldn’t you talk to white people about racism. You have to read it and you should have your opinion changed.
The Color of Law (my review)
From redlining black neighbourhoods to denying black veterans the loans they were promised for their service this is an eye opening look at how hard white people have continued to ensure that black people don’t build any wealth.
History of Misogyny (my review)
White supremacy and misogyny go hand in hand as so much of this hate is pushed by white “christian” dudes who then whine when everything isn’t handed to them on a platter.
