I’m taking some downtime with family and books this week. In truth its been more about chores around the house and family than books, but the one book I’ve been digging into is The Bill Gates Problem.
I’m currently working towards a book on thinking well, but after that I want to write a book about how we don’t call them Oligarch’s in North America, they’re Billionaires. Just like US Citizens that move to other countries don’t call themselves immigrants, they’re “expats”.
Thus far it’s been an interesting look at how Bill Gates isn’t that nice soft-spoken billionaire you may think he is. He’s pretty misogynistic and uses philanthropy to wash away his capitalist sins, much like other billionaires do.
