Yesterday I talked about what moves the needle to bring readers into your site. One of the links talked about taking time to optimise your work because it pays off. Today I'll direct you to one more link about the time it takes to do good work.

It echoes things I see when I coach people on their note process all the time. People talk about how I leverage AI (I don't really) and how to make the research phase faster or how I capture content fast, but they're all missing the point of thinking well and good systems.

My post yesterday took just over an hour to write. The post from 2 weeks ago about North American business models took 10 hours to research and write. This post took 15 minutes to write, then I took a short break and spent another 10 minutes going over it and looking back through my notes for any further links I could make or ideas I should add to the main topic that piqued my interest to get started.

It takes time to, in the immortal words of Hornet, git gud.
