I was just talking with my coworker about how hard parenting can be. Like Matt, we don’t have family in the area and have never had much support with our kids. To add to this my wife struggled with post-partum depression with all our kids but very deeply with our 3rd child.

Add to that I was in love with becoming a “creator” and almost tanked everything we had built chasing no income in favour of “passion” stuff that no one was paying me for.

If you’re in the midst of parenting and it’s hard, reach out to anyone around you for support. Kids can be awesome, but even with my oldest being 14, they can still be a pain in the ass that take up so much of your time that you don’t feel like you have.
