I’d heard about this series for a while but didn’t really know what it was about until I watched the Apple TV season and it was excellent there. So I put the book on hold at my library and got it yesterday and it did not disappoint.
We follow Murderbot as he realizes he has feelings for the humans he’s supposed to care for which surprises him because he barely cares about his job at all. Murderbot must keep them safe in a world that turns more hostile than expected and has to negotiate his messy emotions as he cares for them more and more deeply.
Highly recommended. I’m hoping for the whole series for Christmas.
