Like many books we start out with our main character getting whisked to a new world which they need to explore, but then Aaron takes a turn. Our main character is not the “hero of ages”, in fact they take up a regular job and we get to explore the world with them as they realize in this land the goal of the whole country is that everyone gets to become their best self.

I very much enjoyed this “slow” life story as we watch our main character discover a society that is supportive in a way that at first seems baffling to anyone that goes in for capitalism. Then as the caring increases almost seems a bit overwhelming because no one has cared for you like the new community cares for you.
