So you’re not getting business, but you’re going to ‘mixers’ and doing some other marketing pushes. A few leads come out of that effort but nothing that’s turned into real work yet.

Of course the answer must be that you need to attend more of these events and do more of the current marketing things. I mean if you do more, then of course your chances of getting a solid lead will increase. 

Right?

Wrong.

Doing more of something that’s not working will not yield better results. You’ll just end up having more poor leads to chase down.

Doing the wrong thing faster is just speeding things up, but it’s still the wrong thing.
