@shawnblanc on what he’s most interested in with the new iOS

The calmest iPhone yet

Now, I don’t know about you, but I’ve had my iPhone within arm’s reach since I bought the first one in 2007. And it can be easy to use it too much. Which is why I’m all for any features that make it easier to keep the phone less distracting while not handicapping its capabilities in any way.

I’ve opted for putting my phone out of reach but I can see how these features will allow more control and quiet.

What remains to be seen is, will anyone make any real changes in their behaviour or will people just test the features out and go back to old patterns?

I also think that there is a lot of social momentum in using your phone. How often are you the only one at the table not looking at your phone? I know that I’m often the only one.
