It’s been a week since I ditched the digital calendar and went back to an analog system. I am really enjoying this part of my workflow and already looking at other ways I can get further away my from devices. I know I can’t get rid of them altoghether, but this is a start
I think the biggest reason people love, including myself, planning in notebooks is that you slow down when you do it. I’m much less likely to over plan myself in a notebook compared to a digital task manager. It’s easy to end up with 32 tasks on a single day…which you’ll never be able to accomplish. Then you feel guilty.
Once I’ve written a few things on a page in my notebook it feels full so I stop planning tasks.
