WordPress needs to modernize it’s PHP setup and should work with 8.2. The biggest hurdle will be all the 3rd party plugins that make WordPress so useful as a content management system. They all need to be updated.
I also wish that the editor would gain in performance. I’m writing this in the block editor, but I don’t do most of my writing here as it gets far to slow for anything longer than 1000 words. So slow it’s hard to even edit longer pieces so I just let the typo’s sit.
