Today we're going to look at my notes from The Good Enough Job by Simone Stolzoff.

Some highlights of the topics the book addresses:

  • the office itself is a technology that should help you get more work done, but open offices have as much distraction going on as a studio apartment with a 5-year-old in it

  • "family" is what employers tell you when they want you to work more hours for less pay. They're not going to come care for you if you're sick though...like a family would

  • for most of history the more you earned the less you worked, but now we confuse "success" with working way too much, not a happy healthy life with leisure.
