Even on Mastodon, threads should be blog posts.

Think of all the content you put on Twitter that is now in a big dumpster fire for a site you don’t want to be associated with. The same thing could happen to Mastodon, or any other service you don’t fully control. At least on your site, if it becomes a terrible dumpster fire it’s your fault and you have control over it.
