In the 4th installment in Dennis Taylor’s series about a post-human society of “Bob’s” we get introduced to a new race called Quinlan’s as Bob goes searching for Bender who disappeared long ago.
From explorations of post-scarcity utopia, to interactions with humans Pav, AI, and a group of computer replications of the original Bob’s brain, there are a lot of moving parts. Taylor gets enough science in to satisfy without bogging down in the details. I’ve very much enjoyed this series and in preparation for listing to the 4th book, listened to the first 3 again enjoying the universe the whole time.
