The Next Tag in OmniFocus
by
I like this idea. When I did Bullet Journal I ran a few lists that had a similar function. I had lists for: – thisweek – nextweek – thismonth – nextmonth I’d migrate tasks between the lists and when it came to planning I’d look at `#thisweek` and arrange the tasks into the week so
Just Like a Baby Adults Need Rest
by
Loved the comparison between a baby and an adult both needing a rest from stuff. Less than 30 seconds in I was nodding my head agreeing with it. One of the things I do many days a week is take an hour and walk in the middle of the day. Just get out and walk
OmniFocus and Things Comparison
by
Good comparison of OmniFocus and Things 3. I’m wondering if TickTick is really the right tool for me. It’s falling down in the automation department because it doesn’t allow you to create a list/project automatically. These are the two strongest contenders right now.
20 Macs for 2020 – Mac Portable
by
I’ve listened to most of these in podcast form, but I’ve got the videos queued up as well because I want to see these cool pieces of Apple history. The intro is pretty cheesy…like you’re dad trying to be cool cheesy. I guess they’re both dad’s though, as am I.
Matt Ragland on Time Blocking
by
I like how Matt used some blocks to visually represent how his time blocks work. Like Matt, I start by blocking out the things I can’t change like the time I need to watch kids or run or do other stuff that limits the amount of time I can work in a week. Once you’ve
Obsidian Tour from Justin
by
I don’t use the Maps of Content stuff he does, but if you’re looking for how someone uses Obsidian day to day, this is a good video.
Some iPad Pro Game Recommendations from Byte Review
by
I’ve been gaming more on my iPad and thus on the look out for interesting games. I think that Pascal’s Wager (the last one in the video) looks like something I’d be interested in.
iPad Widget Mock-up from Matt Birchler
by
One of the biggest issues I have with iPadOS 14 is the lack of widgets on the homescreen like iOS has. Matt Birchler has an excellent video on how they could work if Apples adds them.
Carl Pullein on Drafts
by
I’ve been back on a Drafts kick lately. I’ll get to a video talking about what has changed that make Drafts “work” for me, but today is not that day. I started looking at Carl’s Drafts stuff today. You can get the whole series [here](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=RDCMUCE_lTvaMHuco_Oh3-69LkCA&feature=share&playnext=1). I don’t use Drafts as capture tool for everything like
Chris Lawley on the 8th Gen iPad
by
All the devices my kids use are iPad Mini 3’s which are showing their age. This is yet another vote towards getting at least one iPad 8th Gen that my oldest can use for school work. That would at least split out the purchase of other devices for a while instead of everything being broke
