We will invest in learning, in our tools, and in the tools of those we employ. We will weigh investments based on the returns we will get, not just on the dollar value they cost.

    Great video, Curtis. When I originally read this part of the Manifesto, I was nodding my head. There are many agencies out there (much less regular businesses) that run things the exact opposite. Instead of investing in the people around them, many people try to see how much they can extract from others. Instead of investing in their business, everything is about pinching pennies until Lincoln screams in pain.

      Yeah I’ve worked for some businesses like that. You just don’t feel valued as an employee or person when you’re treated like that.
