Ugh the new Apple TV Remote
by
As Michael highlights, the new Apple TV remote is a problem. I have to reset it every week or so. Sometimes that doesn’t work and I have to reset the Apple TV instead…then reset the remote. The last remote just worked. My kids dropped it and broke the glass and it was taped up so

We Live in an Age of Monomania
by
From Strong Towns: We’re living in an age of monomania. If you hang around online, you’ll see lots of people adopt a persona consisting of one principle that they just crank up to 11 and apply to everything. The incentives of social media encourage having a shtick—it’s why people are K-Pop Stans or Swifties. It’s

We guage our success based on people we know
by
Two good quotes sent to me from Readwise today: How much of our desire for new clothes, a better car, a bigger house, a shinier computer or gadget, is actually driven by the fear that not having these things means we are, in some ways, missing out? Enough by Patrick Rhone and People assess how

Now I Run this Newsletter Poorly
by
Now, I run this newsletter poorly. There is no rhyme or reason behind my topic selection; my tweets are riddled with spelling errors; the courses I teach are challenging to find. I don’t do podcast interviews, and just the thought of attending an event to “network” makes me break out in hives. If I schedule more

Adding Tasks to Apple Reminders
by
Default List Before we get started with adding tasks to Reminders, you really should set up an Inbox list. To do this click Add List at the bottom of Reminders and make the name of the list Inbox. You’ll want to use this list as the default spot for all new Reminders that are added.
